The CPO Spouse Connect event is presented by the Enlisted Leadership Foundation (ELF), a 501c3 non-profit business. ELF is the founder of San Diego’s premier CPO Pride Day, which celebrates soon-to-be promoted Chief Selectees.

Becoming the spouse of a newly promoted Chief Petty Officer (CPO) brings about exciting yet significant changes. Understanding these transitions and the role you’ll now have the opportunity to play is essential to ensuring a smooth and fulfilling journey ahead. That’s why we’re thrilled to invite you to the CPO Spouse Connect event, an exclusive, free event on the West Coast designed specifically for spouses like you.

More than just a gathering, this event is a unique opportunity to connect with other spouses navigating the same path. You’ll have the chance to learn about the heritage and tradition of pinning on anchors and hear from powerhouse military spouses who have been exactly where you are now. They’ll share stories, insights, and candid conversation on what it truly means to be the spouse of a Chief. From managing new responsibilities to understanding the unique dynamics of a Chief’s role, we will cover it all.

Signature Event for CPO Spouses

Over 700 Sailors will be promoted to Chief Petty Officer within the various U.S. Navy San Diego-based commands in September 2025. This exclusive event brings together spouses of Chief Petty Officer Selectees alongside current CPO spouses for a one-of-a-kind experience. By attending CPO Spouse Connect, you’ll not only meet other CPO spouses, but also experience a platform for networking, relationship building, and personal and professional leadership development. Our objective is not just to provide information and resources but to create an environment of celebration and camaraderie.

All retired CPO spouses are welcome and encouraged to attend! Complete the registration and select “Retired.”

Are children invited?

Babies in arms are welcome.

Is there a cost for parking at Liberty Station Conference Center?

Parking is free.

Where is the VIP After Party?
